POINT BLANK 2

There are various things to do on this game; they are point blank castle, party mode, and also training mode and theme park mode. I feel this game is good and especially when you have a gun. This is really good because you just shoot everything in the way.

POINT BLANK CASTLE

You can either play with or against your friend or by yourself. This is my favoured choice on the game Point Blank 2. Basically what you have to do is to go onto 16 different levels and you get a set thing to do e.g. kill 30 criminals in 30 seconds with out killing some innocent people, if you kill the people you lose a life and you have 3 lives. In the castle you can do an arcade mode which is pretty good and exciting to play. What you have to do is there are 4 courses which await you- practice, beginner, advanced and insane. The practice course has 4 stages and the others have 3. There is also some bonus stages, which are excellent to play. It also gives you step to step instructions which is helpful when you do not know what you are doing. The plus to having instructions is that you do not than have to read the manual. You can also do 3 endurance stage, which consists of clearing as many stages as possible; this is quite hard to clear all but is manageable because I have done it myself. There is another stage it is versus; this is where you can do a two-player game and play your mates and produces fun.


PARTY MODE

This is a cool mode because basically it is just you and your friend’s playing and no computer players. There are three different things to do in this stage, they are tournament, team battle and turf war. Tournament is what it says you do a tournament between your friend’s and see who is the best at using a gun. It is not the player who loses all his or hers lives that lose it is the person with the least amount of points. This is a good rule because you could have loads of points but lose your lives first
and lose the game. Team battle is where you and your buddies spilt up into red and blue teams to compete against each other. Player’s from each team compete one-on-one, and the person with the highest score wins. Each team if they really like can have a total of up to 4 player’s making 8 in total. This is good because it makes the game even more exciting when there is more competition. Turf war is when you and your friend’s take turns trying to steal each other’s territory. The winner is decided by the player with the most territory at the end of the match. I feel this is good because again there is that rivalry between different people. You territory can be taken away when you are not playing.

TRAINING

This is just what it says. You just train up your shooting skills and practice different levels. You just improve your quickness and accuracy. You can do this to get a competitive advantage over your friend’s.

THE THEME PARK

You are the hero and your mission is to find the missing princess. The only problem is you can only really do theme park mode in one player. First you have a choice of the different level’s which is good. You have to complete each level to find the princess. The different levels are cosmic drive, abyss tours, superbullet train and haunted house. Cosmic drive, in this shooting attraction you have to defeat evil aliens to save the earth. Haunted house you have to find you way out of a maze shooting your way through different levels.

Overall this game is exciting and an excellent gun game. I would recommend it to everyone with a compatible gun
