The graphics of the game are on the same level, if not better, than those of Baldur's Gate, who for many gamers was until recently the top of the tops in its category. It might look a bit...'dark' sometimes but I guess down in the dungeons you can never see clearly anyway! I was among the first gamers who bought the Pool of Radiance (PoR) on its UK release date (30/11/2001) and since then I have devoted a great deal of my free time to its dungeons! After more of 40 hours of play... I have reached a stage where I can take a step back and put down a few words for you who will be considering buying the title. The first thing you will notice about the game is that battles are not 'real time' but rather turned based. The ones of you who have played the 'real' D&D by TSR(r) (like me!) will consider this as a feature, since traditional RPGs were not made for users with the best reflexes but for users with tactics ...
