Advantages: Great game, fun for most ages, fairly easy to play at least the first 10 levels, easy controls.

Rayman is the original game in a Rayman series that has lasted for many years now and is one that I'm sure is going to continue for many years to come as Rayman, with his floppy hair and lack of legs & arms, is someone whose become recognisable to the last couple of generations for his funny looks.

In this game you can play as Rayman and work your way through 60 levels in six different worlds and there are lots of different actions that Rayman will learn along the way such as how to punch, how to hanf from ledges etc and you don't even need to have a memory card for this game as you will be given a password which you can then enter on the first main screen to get back to the levels that you had already completed and you can begin from the start of the last level that you had unlocked.

There are lots of baddies along the way who are a little tougher to beat but it's relatively easy to work your way through this game providing you save fairly regularly or write down the passwords so that when you've used up your continues and your extra lifes that you can come back to where you were last doing well and continue on your battle again.

This game is good fun with it's 2-D graphics and Rayman's strange actions such as the way he jumps and how you can punch down what appears to be giant pieces of fruit and then use them to swim along rivers or just jump on the fruit to get up to higher places to collect the musical notes that Rayman needs to earn extra lifes and points for the levels.

I find the controls very easy to use as you simple use the D pad to move Rayman and a couple of the X O buttons to jump, punch etc and this is very easy to pick up and quite obvious if you play games regularly.

This game is very fun and the huge array of levels means that it takes quite some time to get through the game and therefore, providing you get this for the right price, this could be a great way to keep the kids entertained without spending a fortune.

I would definitely recommend this game and keep your eyes peeled at car boot sales or on ebay for this game at a great price. I am rating it 5/5 because it's huge fun and I love the random movements & noises that Rayman makes as you work your way through the levels as well as the characters that you meet along the way.

Summary: A fantastic game that I got at a bargain price.
