this game is terrible!!! the concept is pants and is badly carried out!!! the cars drive nothing like rc cars, trust me, i know. in the game, you just drive rc cars round badly drawn tracks at incredibly slow speeds! very boring! i suppose its ok for children who have never played a driving game before, as an introduction type of thing. but for people like me, its purile sh*te!!! i love driving games!!! i hate this!!! i love driving games with track creators, eg. v-rally 2!!! revolt also has a track creator, quite easy to use and fun, until you make a track of decent size and race on it, slow as a stupid irishman, it cant take the size ... Today, I would like to write an opinion about RE-Volt of Akklaim. I had actually bought it for my nephew, who participates 10 years old in the meantime. Since the game was excellent for worn-out 9,95 DM, I thought there, I could make nothing wrong. I accept the game itself only quite shortly so that the ones, that don't know it, can start also a picture of those. It goes to drive one races with remote-controlled models in all possible landscapes therefore. Whether in the toy-store, or in the supermarket or simply only in one development. Arms, with which one can wipe out the other vehicles one, can still be picked up differently with it then. However firstly, it ... Read the complete review

The concept of Revolt was appealing to me, it's essentially MicroMachines but in viewed from behind 3D so i checked it out. The first thing that might strike you about the game is the graphics, they're great. While not particularly detailed when viewed close up, they look good when viewed from a distance. I really like the amount of imagination put into each and every track, they're bright and colourful and really look appealing, especially to the younger gamer. It's worth pointing out that the game is quite difficult, you'll spend a lot of your time racing the same tracks trying to beat it. But often i didn't mind this ... Read the complete review

Re-Volt is a pretty classy game, kind of like a 3D version of Micro Machines, with powerups. The idea is, as with most racers, to beat your opponents round the track, but the premise of radio controlled cars allows for some inventive use of objects as obstacles and scenery. The graphics are very polished, and the movement of the cars sensitive enough to be believable. The range of powerups could be better, I reckon, as the fun of using them wears off quite quickly. Overall, you aren't going to be playing this till the cows come home, but it's a fun little racer. ... Read the complete review

The idea of Re-Volt is that you get to drive a radio-controlled car around one of loads of tracks, and the cool thing is that ordinary, everyday items such as chairs and cars look absolutely massive as you're seeing them from a "worm's eye" view, as you're in a small r/c car! There are loads of different cars and tracks, and upto 2 players can play. There are loads of options and game modes, and this is a very fun game. You will be able to pick it up for around £10 now, and it's well worth it! ... Read the complete review
