Whilst the first two Resident Evil games were stories with only tenuous links to each other, the third game - Nemesis - places us firmly in the boots of fan favourite Jill Valentine from the first game. Subtitled Nemesis after the big bad hulking monster that stalks you for much of the game, Resident Evil 3 was the third installment of the franchise on the PS One and the last proper sequel to appear for several years. The third game in the series is an advancement over Resident Evil 2 but just not as much as the first one was over Resident Evil 2 but I still like it even if it is a little confusing. The game kind of bookends Resident Evil 2 where the outbreak has spread throughout the whole of Raccoon City and Jill Valentine is stuck trying to escape the city, whereas in Resident Evil 2 you were stuck mostly within the police station 3 sticks you in the middle of the burning streets of Raccoon City. Welcome to the world of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. This is one of the best Resident Evil games that you can buy. At this point they really do have the art of creating Resident Evil games down to a T. You wake up in the nightmare once more. You must battle your way through the streets of Racoon City solving different puzzles and finding various items to help you solve those puzzles.
