This is an arcade racer in its purest form. You go faster than ever possible, your car can't be destoryed or dented, and you have weapons. Everything you could want... but hey wasn't this wipeout??? Well it was, but instead of a levitating pointy 'craft' you have a 4 wheeled, rollcage speed demon which can drive upside-down. The game is simple, with one objective - race and win. The contols are simple and easy to pick up, so anyone can try and race you at your house when your frineds are round and you have all had a couple of beers. Even the most experienced players can lose to a beginnier, that's the beauty of this game. Anything can happen ... Read the complete review

Rollcage is an arcade-style racing game for Windows and PlayStation, developed by Attention to Detail, and published by Psygnosis. The Windows version was released in the UK on March 24, 1999. (Source - Wikipedia) Roll Cage, where do I start.. I love this Arcade game and still find myself creeping back to my playstation to play on this fantastic game as other games do not provide me with the sheer thrill of battling it out on the Roll Cage tracks. The game consists of 4 areas to play on which is basically termed different "worlds" which each have their own number of tracks. You can select which driver you wish to be from 6 ... ’’Game your way to glory…’’ Everyone in their kid, usually had one thing in their games basket and that was a cool Video Game with computer taking over, its been a long story. Though still video game manufactures like Sony and Sega doing their bit by launching their advanced games like the Playstation and Dreamcast. But for an average Indian kid this sometimes becomes a bit expensive because they carry a price tag of more than Rs 13000(315$). The advance graphics, which the computer games provide, are amazing. But excessive playing of games on a computer is harmful. For that matter anything done in excess are always ... Read the complete review

Rollcage is an intense driving game, unlike any you've ever experienced before. It combines weapons (a la Twisted Metals), with intense racing (a la Gran Turismo) for a truly dizzying ride. Unlike the Twisted Metal series, your weapons do not kill other opponents, rather they are used to slow them down or speed you up. Although the graphics are sufficient, they do not come close to Gran Turismo or Driver. The graphics are similar to the Need For Speed series. One of the hardest things to get used to is the unique feature of racing upside down, or right side up. The cars in Rollcage have large tires, and therefore can be flipped over and still drive with ... Read the complete review

This could have been great. You race around (Wipeout style) in a big fast car, shooting weapons at the others in the race, and (F-Zero X style) you can even drive on the ceiling, along the sides of walls and so on. The graphics and sound are great. It's let down though by the fact that it's far too easy to crash. The game races along at a great speed, which is commendable, but it's far too easy to crash, and then - INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATINGLY - be facing the wrong way down the track, and essentially out of the race. Races become a lottery rather than any true test of skill, which makes the game pointless. An opportunity missed. ... Read the complete review
