Aironauts (PS):
... for the Playstaion One is basically a game in which you play criminals who have agreed to go into space as an experiment of some kind. Once there evertyhign goes a bit wrong and you end up battling in the skies with all the other prisoners who signed up to it. With an array of weapons and unique methods of killing this is a pretty original title. Graphics - Obviously this wasn t the priority for the game a... 007 Tomorrow Never Dies (PS) ... was with Rareware that James Bond finally found a company who could produce a great game based on his likeness for the N64 in the game based on the film "Goldeneye" and whenever I heard that they had been dumped in favour of EA for the playstation version I must say I was more than concerned for the quality of game we were about to recieve. Should I have been? Well the answer is yes, not a catergoric yes but a yes none the less. They decided to drpo the 1st person shooter idea that was so wondefully done on the N64 and went for a more imaginitve 3rd person game introducing the opportunity to take Bond on the road in cars and stuff. The graphics were inoffen... Read the full review: Bond, James Bond by briangilmour |

Alien Trilogy (PS) ... back in the days when Doom ruled the roost as the only true great 1st person shooter it was bold of Acclaim to not only challenge their throne but to do so with a film title. R-Types (PS) ... are only two R Types (R Type and R Type II) here in this collection but they are pretty darn good games anyway you look at it and both are very challenging shooters. The reason the score is so high is because now I can save my high scores to a memory card and you can continue a game for later thanks to a level select option for both games. R Types here surprisingly doesn t suck! The Original R Type: First released over here in 1987 by Nintendo in the arcades R Type was a single quarter stand up arcade shooting game in deep space. So what was so special about this game anyway? The near impossible difficulty, the eerie space music, the new and revolutionary charge B...
