Advantages: amuses you for about 5 seconds with the characters voices

Disadvantages: pretty much the whole game

I thought this looked like a really funny and not to hard racing game. However it is one of the worst games i've ever played. The graphics are good only in the sense that they are fairly faithful to the cartoon but the gameplay is awful. You can only access one track when you begin and have to win that race to be able to play the other tracks. In order to win the first race you have to pass the 4 flags in order, and before everyone else, this is not so straightforward because the track veers off into loops that don't go anywhere and you often find yourself going the wrong way. The cars themselves are mostly slow and awkward to drive and don't respond as quickly as you would like.
I hated this game so much that i gave up after playing it 5 times and not getting anywhere close to winning the first race. My brother played it a few times and managed to get onto a few of the other races where you have to collect and keep hold of an object while the other characters try to take it off you, however you are still going round the same or similar track with not much variation and it is still confusing as to where you have to go.

Usually i love racing games like micro machines and formula one, however South park rally was just too awkward and confusing to even feel like you were in a race, it felt more like a navigation excercise to see if you could find the right way round the track.

I have now sold this game, at least I managed to get £9 for it, when I went into the shop the first thing the bloke said to me was "the funny thing about south park rally is that its crap". Not so funny if you happen to have forked out close to £30 for it.
