Advantages: graphics and gameplay

Disadvantages: a bit short

When you think super hero's who do you think of? Well theres so many, Superman Batman hell even Ironman has his own movie nowadays but the biggest grossing movies of the past few years have actually been the Spiderman series. This game on the Playstation isn't based on either of the 3 movies to date, but of the cartoon/ comic book hero of Spiderman.

This is a 3rd person platform game in which you guide Spidey around defeating crime and defending the good of the land. Theres plenty of cool little gadgets you can use, everything from your webs to your spidey-sense is useful in your pursuit of justice and do right the wrongs.

The graphics are pretty cool, looking very comic book like and clearly these weren't too much for the PSX to handle, the animations are all very smooth and each move Spiderman does looks pretty sweet. The sound is of course good and accompanied by the themes that mde the cartoon and live action series so popular. For me what makes this game so playable is the gameplay itself, very easy to manouver your character around and it never really feels awkward.

All in this is a unique spiderman title different from the ones based on the movies and it's worth a look for fans of this superhero, thumbs up.
