I have been long awiating the release of this game since spiderman was my childhood hero. I have seen games on x-men, silver sufer and other marvel superheroes gone by but there was still no spidey.

When I first heard of its release in Powerstation i was delighted. I rushed down to the store and bought it. I wasnt dissapointed. It is basically a 3D platform game whee you control spidey in a third person view. It includes all the traditional spidy moves such as web sling, web shot etc. What I thought that brought this platform game above the rest was the openness of the game. It isnt as open as the likes of Urban Chaos but it doesnt need to be. Also it uses all the spidey bad guys such as Rhino, Dr Octopus, Venom and Chaos. This makes it a great game for all you spidey fans. Althought the game is not too long or too hard it does have a cheat menu that is updated each time you complete the game or find the secret. This allows hours of endless gameplay where you are left insuspense to what costume of secret will be unlocked next!!!

If you like platforms I suggest you try it, if you dont then hire it and then buy it, either way youll end up with a copy. A great game, well done Neversoft!
