Advantages: Simple gameplay

Disadvantages: A bt dated now

I find it amazing that in a time where its always good to be older that a kids cartoon can tap into the adult world. With enough cartoons on TV from Family Guy to the Simpsons theres really no need for anything else but if you want some genuine funny writing without the smut or politics that most cartoons give you then you can't go wrong wit old Spongebob.

So here he is on the playstation , why you ask? Well he needs you're help, he needs to retrieve the autographs of two of his heroes - Barnacle Boy and the Mermaid Man, You have to guide him along in this little platformer.

The graphics are pretty good and look a lot like the actual cartoon which many kids will love. All the little characters look brilliant and the whole games background and environment is very colourful.

Gameplay is very simple with your usual side scrolling platform game, just walk and jump along under the sea with Sponegbob and his pals. It's very simple and not hard to get used to even for kids.

The sound is borrowed from the TV show with the same music and voices too.

All in this is simple but inoffensive and definitley a nice little game that the kids will enjoy and might even be a title that some adults looking for an easy little adventure will enjoy too.

Summary: I liked this as it was a sweet little easy platformer
