Actua Soccer (PS) ... a massive fan of football based videogames, i ve had them all over the years - from FIFA and PES right through to the older classics like Goal , MatchDay and Sensible Soccer . The first Playstation football title which I owned was the excellent Adidas Power Soccer , and I thought it was the ultimate gaming experience - that is until Actua Soccer came along. Released in 1995 and developed by Gremlin Interactive, the title had the impressive claim of being the first football game to use full 3D graphics. 100% Star (PS) ... Star was not an orignal title when it came out, the game immediatley reminded me of the Spice Girls game when that was released for the PS1. I guess this is like that only with a mixture of Parappa the Rapper mixed in there, unfortunatley they seem to have taken the worst elements of those games to create one horrible dance-a-long game. Graphics - Pretty poor, they re blocky and although not meant to look realistic they still don t look as if each sprite has had much time spent on them 4 out of 10 Gameplay - Don t know where to start here, basically you tap buttons along in time to make your supergroup dance a long to the beat, sadly the timing is way off and its r... Garros French Open 2001, published by Cryo Interactive and developed by Carapace, does not feature any real players, despite appearances in the opening movie so instead there s the likes of Pierre Bertin and Catherine Menard representing France.
