Spyro 3 for me is the last great Spyro game. Insomniac were great at making the Spyro games but as soon as it was sold to Sierra it just seemed to get worse and worse for me. Spyro 3 all starts with the dragons celebrating the 'Year of the Dragon' and it is all going well until a rabbit girl thing called Bianca goes and steals the ... Read the complete review

If you liked the last spyro game you'll love this, its longer and you get other playable charcters. The aim like always is to get all gems, and this time you need to collect Dragon eggs which are scattered throughout the forgotten worlds-controlled by the evil scoreress. Sadly the enemys are repetaive agein although you do get other ... Read the complete review

Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon This Spyro game is in my opinion the best one. The Story: Every twelve years, the Year of the Dragon festival happens. The fairies bring the new dragon eggs and dragons come from all over to celebrate the new generation. On the other side of the world is a kingdom that has been ... Read the complete review

Spyro the Dragon burst onto the PlayStation back in late 1998. This cute 'n' colourful platformer provided the most free-roaming levels sinc the release of Gex 3D, more than a year earlier. Most gamers settled on the opinion that whilst it looked great and was good fun, it was lacking in long-term appeal. Not long after Spyro's first ... Read the complete review

Spyro Year of the Dragon- one of the best games around! Aim of the Game- To rescue all of the stolen dragon eggs. Graphics- The graphics are excellent, and you don't do things like walk through trees and crash into invisible brick walls. It is 3D, so it isn't flat and gets you more into the part. Music and Sound ... Read the complete review

This has to be one of the best playstation games I have played. Spyro 1 + 2 were good, still 8/10 stuff, but Year Of The Dragon is just top. All 3 Spyro game have excellent graphics and gameplay, but 1 + 2 where over too quickly, and was too easy. Spyro 3 has lasted a lot longer, with lots of extra levels unlocked towards the ... Year of the Dragon - the final Spyro game and also the best Spyro game. You think that the originality and the unflawed ATD put into Gateway to Glimmer could not get any better - well it is. The game is about a stereotypical wicked witch who snatches all the dragon eggs throughout the Dragon World and you must recover them. The ... Read the complete review

Spyro: Year of the Dragon is the follow up to the moderately successful Spyro 1 and 2. In case you haven’t played the other two games, you control Spyro, a purple dragon, but in this outing you can also control Sheila the kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd the flying penguin, Bentley the yeti (!), Agent 9 the monkey (he looks like something from Planet of ... Read the complete review

At first glance this might appear to be another cutesy platformer for little kids. However, once you start playing you realise how wrong you were! Spyro has a lot of attitude for a dragon so small, and the frequent cut scenes had me sniggering, and occasionally rolling on the floor! The difficulty level seems just about right, increasing as ... This is the third in a trilogy of PlayStation platform games starring the young fire-breathing dragon "Spyro". In this third adventure, there haven't been many technological advances since the last episode (Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer), but there have been some new twists to the gameplay. Is this game then any better than the last ... Read the complete review

If Spyro 1 was cute but easy and Spyro 2 was harder but duller, the Spyro 3 is everything that they both wanted to be! When a wicked sorceress (and her pretty young trainee!) steals the baby dragon eggs from the sleeping dragons of Avalar, Spyro is put on the case. Accompanied by Zoe and Hunter from the previous games, along with constant ... Read the complete review
