Yes, this game surely improves over its predecessor, in ways more then one. 1.) Graphics: wow, these have improved amazingly! No more jagged edges, explosions looking like the ships just shattered, and the amount of space eye candy improved. Zooming in to ships reveals detailed textures and lighting, with windows lit up, and as your ships are hit with phasers and torpedoes, you see the lighting flicker, and large holes open up in the hull, revealing the internal structure of the ship. 2.) She would prefer that I sit there quietly staring at the tube watching MTV with her, which I hate. For the Single Player Campaign, the levels for each of the campaigns reflect the races attributes, so, for exapmle, without giving to much detail ... Read the complete review

Star Trek Armada II: Star Trek Armada but better. This game is actually one of the better Star Trek games out there. Once you watch the wikkid intro (which is split into two parts-The one that gives you the storyline and one with different battle sequences which is very cool) You are greeted with the main screen (all options if you hover the mouse over then have their own animations), the options are: Instant Action Campaign Multiplayer Options Replay intro Credits Exit All of these are self-explanatory, so it's easy to choose what to do. Let's start with Instant Action. You choose a map, a race (Klingon, ... Read the complete review
