Theme Park (PS):
... Park is getting on a bit these days. It was released in 1994 and the graphics truly reflect this. Although the 2d sprites and pixelated scenery is extremely outdated, it did have a certain charm. I m a big believer in gameplay over graphics anyway, and in this respect the game really excels. Created by Bullfrog (the company responsible for the highly addictive Theme Hospital), the game charges the player to de... Read the full review: Cute Colourful Fun!!! by Revier |

KKND 2 - Krossfire (PS) ... out a year after the original KKND game in 1998, KKND2: Krossfire is yet another derivative real time strategy game firmly in the Command and Conquer mould but with a little more inventiveness evident in its design this time around. As in the original KKND game KKND2 is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which technologically advanced bunker-dwellers go up against animal-controlling tribal mutants, but this time there is a third race to play as or against in the form of a race of robots initially designed to serve humanity who have since gone their own way. The game has a more polished feel to it this time, with the graphics being colourful, cartoony and appealin... Read the full review: Derivative but fun in small doses by Burning_Darkness |

KKND (PS) ... (short for Krush, Kill and Destroy) is a fairly generic real time strategy game from 1997 that is really little more than an inferior Command and Conquer clone, requiring you to harvest oil and build factories, barracks, power plants and base defenses whilst churning out vehicles and infantry with which to defeat your foes. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic setting in which a group of high-tech redneck humans equipped with tanks, rocket launchers and machinegunners find themselves up against a bunch of mutants who stayed outside when the nukes fell rather than cowering in underground bunkers as did their foes, the mutants having managed to harness the power of n... Jagged Alliance 2 - Unfinished Business (PS) ... Alliance 2 is one of the best strategy games ever made, yet criminally remains largely unknown to all but die-hard fans of the genre. Borrowing heavily from the once excellent Xcom series, JA2 mixes micromanagment with turn based tactical combat, requiring you to hire, fire and command a rag tag group of mercernaries, all with their own individual characters, attributes and skills, the aim of the game being to carry out a coup against the sadistic female dictator of a little known pacific island. The original game was almost totally non-linear, allowing you to pretty much go where you wanted throughout the island, whereas the game s add-on pack, Unfinished Busines...
