Advantages: At times can be ok

Disadvantages: Generally boring

Surf Riders for Playstaion One is yet another game which tried to capitalise on a bit of a fad , in the early 2000's the whole surfer thing was in for a while and just like Skateboarding and Snowboarding, the second it gained momentum it earned itself a title on the Sony Playstation. I don't know how many surfer games there are out there, I know i've had y hands on a few but this one is pretty bland.

Graphics - Average, sure the characters you choose to surf as look ok but the waves look poor and the presentation of the whole game looks very rushed to me 5/10

Gameplay - Hard, at first anyway. I t reminded me of the surfing game in California Games as at first you haven't a clue what you're doing and just keep falling, but it gets a bit better 6/10

Sound - Non existant really, Not enough to warrant it a good score anyway 4/10

Longevity - Don't see anyone playing this game for that long the first time never mind going back fro more! 4/10

Overall - An average game, I guess at times it caputures the feel of actual surfing but it's a thumbs down for me, not terrible but nothing worth playing really. 4/10
