... performed in a very Beat 'em Up style of play. The game is more like a platformer due to elements such as collecting Jade pieces to gain extra lives and so on. Throughout the game, you can earn new moves by completing levels and defeating enemies, there are a fine selection of enemies, from the Dragon's snake guards and bosses to level specific foes like Cheetah warriors at the Cheetah temple and so on. If I'm being completely honest, I knew very little about T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger before playing it. I knew it was a parody of old Kung Fu movies, and all the characters were animals, but that was really about it, and I had no idea what type of game it was when I plopped down £2 for it preowned. I did assume it would be some type of Beat 'em Up, due to the Kung Fu-ness of it, but the pictures on the back of the sleeve made it look like it also played a little like a platformer.
