Tekken 3 is one game in a whole series of fighting games. Each and every Tekken game improves upon the previous version. The game allows you to choose from a variety of different characters and each character has two different sets of clothing for you to use. You must fight against a number of different enemies and some ... Read the complete review

In my second year of university I lived in a shared house. In the lounge we had a playstation, on this playstation we had Tekken 3.... There is only one game I have played more than this and that is Sensible Soccer, which many will tell you is the finest game to ever grace the world of computers, if that is so, then in my opinion this ... Tekken 3 would be the final PSOne instalment for the legendary beat 'em up series, despite prolonged but unfounded rumours of Tekken Tag Tornament making it's way to the little grey wonderbox. By the time the third Tekken was released in Autumn in 1998, it had become the most highly-anticipated fighting game ever made. People were ... Read the complete review

As far I am aware, this game is available on platinum and is worth every penny. For those who are not in the know, the Tekken series was created by Namco, one of japans leading game companies, and stems from Tekken 2 which was a flagship beat-em-up game for the playstation 1 released around 1995. Tekken 1 and 2 were intensely ... Read the complete review

WOW!!! This game is soooo much fun! I don't own a playstation myself but if I did, this is definately the game I would buy first! I'm in sixth form and we spend hours playing this! (Yes I know, we're meant to spend all of these hours woking but... well.. we don't!) One of our group brings a playstation in every day and we sit in ... Read the complete review

Quite probably the greatest beat-em-up ever to have existedfor the playstation, Tekken 3 sees Player 1 beating the crap out of either a computer opponent, or, much more enjoyably, Player 2. And that’s it. The game doesn’t deliver much, but what it does deliver, it delivers with style… Featuring 21 different characters ... Read the complete review

The grand-daddy of all home fighting games has arrived. It doesn't get any better than this. Honest. This game offers so much in the way of gameplay and extra's that it will never be topped, and it does this all without bouncing breasts, eh! (refer to Dead or Alive review) This game really brings the arcade home. Actually I'd ... Read the complete review

There are a lot of beat-um-ups on the playstation but Tekken wipes the floor with all of them. There are three Tekken?s out but the third one is a lot better than the earlier editions due to the improved graphics, speed and the fact that there are more modes to choose from to make the game last that bit longer. There are numerous modes ... Read the complete review

There Tekken Force modes, time attack arcade mode - the list goes on. There is great range of characters all of which have there own special moves. There is one that looks like Bruce Lee and even ... It has been fabled that Tekken 3 was in fact the sequel to the beloved game, Tekken 2. As unlikely as it may appear to you, this is the truth, and there's also something else which man seem even more unlikely but is the truth, Tekken 3 actually managed to surpass the standards of its predecessors! Tekken 2 was and still is an awesome game; it ... Read the complete review

GAMEPLAY: There’s no doubt that this is a deep game, it has 6 familiar game modes (Arcade, Versus, Team, Survival, Time Attack, and Practice), and 2 all-new game modes, which are Tekken Ball (volleyball type mini-game) and Tekken Force (Final Fight type mini-game). Although the latter two aren’t that original, they are ... Read the complete review

Tekken has a simillarity to Star Wars. Both of them seem to get better with each sequal that comes out. This completley defies all rules of sequels. Tekken has been around since the playststion was first born. Tekke nis the nintendos version of Mortal Combat but for the Playstation. Tekken 3 is a typical Beat em' up. You ... The third in the Tekken games this one is my favourite. The graphics are much improved and the players look much more realistic then in the previous Tekkens. I always liked the Tekken series - it was much better than the Virtua Fighter series in my opinion. However this 3rd installment of the series just isnt totally my cup of tea. Heihachi's other son Jin is now the main character, with a new boss in the game too - Ogre. The FMV sequences are nothing short of great, but I just don't ... Read the complete review

I am the ultimate fan of beat'em ups due to the fact that I find all other types of games tiresome and not worth the effort. I am a huge fan of the Tekken series and I feel that the last one that was brought out for the standard playstation was better than the other two. There is so much to do here, both in-fight and as fighting options. For example, you can compete in such things such as team fights, 'Tekken Ball Mode', 'Tekken Force Mode' and ... This is definitely one of the best beat em ups on the playstation. It has superb graphics, gameplay, and a good lifespan. The characters are much better fighters than they are in Tekken 1 or 2. Tekken 3 is the best "beat em up" you can get for the Playstation. In my mind Tekken was and still is the ultimate fighting game, and the game that was such a hit in the arcades transferred perfectly to the Playstation.
