Tekken is the fighting game that spawned an era of fighting games. The original was no less than brilliant when it first appeared on the playstation console. Being a popular arcade fighter there were several reasons why this was so. The game allows you to choose from a variety of characters each with their own special moves and combos. Although the list of moves wasn't enormous the graphics and the gameplay is what made this game highly addictive. Again much like many games I have been playing and reviewing recently, this is another one that is famous for starting a big big trend. The Tekken series now has gone on and dominated the fighting genre for 3d games over the past 13 years and continues to do so into the next generation of consoles. But this was right back in time in 1995 when they released the original. At that time the only 3D fighter out was Battle Arena Toshinden that I had, but I traded it in for Tekken when that was released due to the overwhelming hype that it had been given previous to it's arrival on the shelves of game shops everywhere. This game was released way back when the lttile grey box was first braught out. Since then it has seen many sequels and ceases to exist. Many people now will only have heard of tekken 3 or tekken tag tournament (PS2) but it is still a very good game. This is an arcade based game. You chose a charicter then fight all the other as you move up the table the harder they get until you reach the boos and then you complete the game. You can chose rom 20 people to fight as. Not alot of people have this game any more because it quite an old game. i really enjoy playing this game time to time, but i can understand why some people might find this game boring! i like all the tekken games because the graphics are great as well as the games itself. if has tekken try these tips and cheats! Here are some cheats I picked up for the original Tekken arcade beat em up-: Continue Galaga During Loading Screen To continue Galaga during the loading screen as many times as you wish, press SELECT whenever the screen shows "Number of Hits". If you score 40 ships the first round, the game will automatically go to the next level.
