Where do you start with a game like this, it is almost impossible as there is so much to it! Ok, I will start of by saying that the game that I reviewing is called, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, I suppose it helps to actually tell you what the game is I am reviewing, unless you got it from the rest of the page, anyway back to the review! As you might guess this is the third game in the Elder Scrolls series, the previous two games being called Elder Scrolls: Arena and Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, I believe although I am not too sure as I have not played them. You might ask how I came across this game if I had never heard of it before? Well I was recommended it, ... Read the complete review

(Note: Whoever the idiot was that added this, added it as Playstation software. This title was never released on the PS1 or 2, only the XBox and PC. This is a review of the XBox version.) When most console gamers think of an RPG, they think of titles like Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger. RPGs such as those consist of long and in depth storylines and a cast of memorable characters on a journey to defeat an evil in the land. For most PC gamers, RPGs are a little different. Rather then focusing on long plot lines and ... Read the complete review

*****This is a review of the PC version of Morrowind - AFAIK it is not out on the Playstation, but an X-Box version is coming soon, less the construction kit***** This Role-Playing Game has had quite a few good reviews due to its graphics and extended longevity and open-ended gameplay, but I don?t think it is as good as everyone makes out! In my opinion it is undoubtedly a good game, but it is a long way from being one of the best PC RPG?s, for a couple of reasons. First some background, the game starts with you on a prison ship, which after it docks you are given your freedom and told to find someone and deliver a note you are given, from then on what ... Morrowind is the third of the Elder scrolls game, the other two being Arena and Daggerfall. Its an action RPG similar in style to Diablo. You can play in third or first person views; first person is the best to play with as its easier to aim during combat. The game allows you to do what you want; follow the main plot, seek to become a grand knight or just explore the Morrowind (which by the way is over 10 square miles). The game begins with you being freed from prison and brought to Morrowind by order of the emperor; once you arrive you answer different peoples questions in order to set your class, race and other statistics. This way of doing it is a lot more ... Read the complete review

Recommended by a friend, Morrowind immediately became one of my all-time favourite PC games. The game is similar in principle to a lot of RPG (roleplaying games) out there because you control your single character through quests and improvements in armour and skills. It's also very different from what's come before. The most surprising things about the game are the level of detail, a lot of work has clearly been put in from the place names and variations to the detailed books, and the variety it offers. This game is completely non-linear, meaning that at virtually all times it doesn't matter what order you do things in, or whether you actually do ... Read the complete review
