Advantages: Realistic, Multiplayer mode, Easy to play

Disadvantages: Some differences from the TV show, Repetative speech

Celador has created its second high pressure game thats become a hit, After Chris Tarrant's annoying banter in Who Wants to be a Millionaire, we now have the cold harsh stare and voice of Anne Robbinson.

Based on the television series, the game tries to recreate the atmosphere and tension of going in front of the ice maiden herself and being rediculed in public if you get the answers wrong.

One black mark against the game is that there are less players than in the TV series, although I wouldn't rate this as being detrimental to the complete game experience. You have Annes voice as well as the berk who does the continuity announcements in the game. The music is spot on and it really makes you feel you are there.

The computer opponents are good and put up a good fight although their speeches can get samey after a while.

With regards to levels, there is a junior mode where you choose from 2 answers, a normal mode where there are four full answers and a hard mode which has the 4 start letters - a word of caution here, there was a question about Stamps but the correct answer was P for postage stamps. Like the manual says, it is only easy if you know the answer.

Not only do you have a single player mode, there is a mode for multiplayer and bend the rules whereby you can bank even when its not your turn. You can also set the prizes in the tournament up to a million pounds.

Having played this game, I found the graphics to be OK however they are a bit blocky but I don't think it is noticable unless you have a large screen monitor.

In summary, this is a worthy game for any serious fan of the TV series, it has all the ingredients included in the TV show and will give you hours of enjoyment.
