This has to be the best football game ever released on the PS1 to date. What I can't understand is why it's not as popular as the FIFA range even though it's miles better. Before this was released, the only real choice was between the FIFA games and ISS Pro. The FIFA games were amazing graphically (although a bit jerky if speeded up) but the game play wasn't brilliant and was too easy to score. ISS wasn't great graphically, but was smooth and great to play. What was needed was a game somewhere between the two. This is where "This is Football 2" comes in. All people who know me, will know that i am a die-hard Northamton Town supporter.(Yeah...Right!), but i believe all Football games should include lower division teams and not just main leagues such as the Premiership.
