Advantages: Great off-line game-play.
Disadvantages: Poor graphics for todays standards
This game (which I have owned on PC), I found very entertaining, but also very frustrating at times. From a young age I played Three Kingdoms believing it to be a simple copy of Age of Empires I and II. But before my computer (with Vista recently installed) decided to reject the game, I suddenly realised its true potential.
<--Game-play-->
Three Kingdoms - Fate of the Dragon involves the contruction of different barrak types (E.g. Pike) which can be used to convert ordinary towns people (workers) into soldiers at the cost it would set you back to train them. I love this idea, as it comes across as much more realistic than simply spawning soldiers from the depths of hell and granting them life like every other strategy game! As well as soldiers, you can participate in the making of siege weaponry and all kinds of other military aparatus. But the villaging side to this game remains just as important. You must supervise the collection of all kinds of farmed materials including pig meat, wood and wheat to help with the war-effort.
<--Graphics-->
The graphics are of low quality, simply because this game is pritty old and out-dated. But don't let this put you off still buying it as the addictiveness will still set in despite any set-backs! The soldiers look good enough and line up in formation as you would expect (though more work has to be put in by actually alining them manually!). When the soldiers engage in battle the graphics bring a sense of realism to the occasion.
<--Conclusion-->
A bloody good game for its time, and one which shall remain in my memory, but not on my computer as Vista will not allow me that pleasure! :(

Summary: A great little game if you don't own Age of Empires II
