A wee bit better than average racing game (Toca World Touring Cars (PS))

Advantages: lots of tracks and cars

Disadvantages: not much of a storyline, things to do

Im going through a phase at the moment where im just going through and reviewing all my old PS games, this is another game i used to love playing, apart from formula one probably the best driving game made of its time, i really enjoyed this as it was the first time i'd raced against so many cars, of course gran turismo was more developed but you would only be racing against 3, 4 or 5 cars, not 20 or so like in Toca, it also had the likes of pit lanes which sometimes needed used, and the tracks were brilliant.


Over 20 tracks and 40 cars this game was awesome in its day, a really good game developed by codmasters, it was up there and competing with gran tursimo, the gameplay however was probably quite a bit better on gran turismo though because there was more to do, i would recommend both these games to bring back good old memories though.

Summary: an above average racing game for the PSX
