... Politika is loosely based on the board game Risk. The game is based around a map of Russia after the breakdown of the USSR and you manouvre little pieces to take over states through electronically rolling dice. From gaining control of this states you can get money and with this money buy dice to improve your chance of victory over the opponent. I picked up the book from my local newsagent for a train journey and was quite impressed so I thought I`d give this game a spin. I was later informed by a friend that the book was based on the game and not vice versa as you would expect. This however is of limited importance as the game is rubbish. The game is overly complex to play and the manual is pretty useless in making it easier to understand and there aren`t any tutorials to hep either. Politika is loosely based on the board game Risk.
