There are avid followers of Tomb Raider. But then there are gamers like me who played the first one, absolutely hated it; played the second and absolutely hated it; played the third and yet again absolutely hated it. But I was compelled for some reason to purchase Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation. Two things made me purchase the game: A) the $9.99 price tag (new, not used) and B) Thinking that since this was allegedly the last game and that Eidos would pull out all the stops --And so the Story Goes-- One thing that the Tomb Raider series always had was an excellent storyline. Characters and plot a la Indiana Jones. In The Last Revelation, you are ... Read the complete review

Quite simply the best Lara Croft adventure seen to date. The Last Revelation takes Lara into Egypt, pitting her up against the most intelligent enemies in the series and also features some breath-taking graphics, as well as a great story. Compared to the other Tomb Raider games in the series, this is way above the rest in terms of gameplay, graphics, sound, etc. The storyline is very well planned but is not too complicated to understand. This is DEFINITELY an adventure game to buy and try out - I'm sure you will love it!!!! ... Read the complete review

C'mon a 4th version of the same game, you have gotta be joking. The orginal was groundbreaking, and a pleasure to see such games being released at last. The second was a sequel and acceptable, with imporvements which were much needed, another good game, but already lacking in orginality. The third began to amaze me. I couldn't believe they had made another, all they did was re-tweak the graphics and that did not do much to the overall look, and made lara manage another bendy trick which has no imporatance in the game. But now a FOURTH! PLEASE! What kind of merchandising skill is this, because people are still buying these games. please can you ... Read the complete review

After purchasing all five Tomb Raider titles for my Play station 1 last year, I have had the pleasure of completing four of them. I have only just recently finished the fourth installment - Tomb Raider the last revelation, and this opinion will be solely about this one. ~~~~~~~GAME PLOT~~~~~~~ Unlike the previous three games all about busty cyber chick, Lara Croft's adventures, 'Tomb Raider the last revelation', goes back into Lara's past to when she was just a child. Before you are allowed to start the game, you must first follow the teenage Lara on a tour of Asia with her teacher and mentor, Professor Werner Von Croy. He ... Read the complete review

I have played 1,2 and 3, and Ive nearly completed 4, I think that the graphics and Lara's movenments have come a long way since the 1st one. The game is basically the same, but harder, and there are different moves to get used to. I like all the tomb raiders, but I think this is the best. You need to really concentrate on some of the moves! the puzzles are a bit hard at times, most of the hard ones are near the end of the game, but I like the way that you have to keep going back to the previous level to do something elce. The only thing I have not liked about any of the tomb raiders, is when the camera angle gets a mind of it's own! I find it quite hard to see ... Read the complete review
