Disadvantages: Will not appeal to skater-haters
Well, it's a skateboarding game. You skate. That round it up? Yes, and no. Yes, you do skate on it, but there is a bit more for that. Pull tricks, get points. Do tricks, get tapes. Also, challenges (collect secret tape, collect S K A T E) will get you tapes too. Tapes get you better boards and more levels. Great system, very rewarding.
Oh I may also mention the learning curve on this is perfect. Like many other games, Spryo 2 and 3 for example.
The gameplay is good and immersive, the graphics are sharp, better with a SCART lead, and it will last you a long time.
