Um Jammer Lammy (PS) ... the hip-hop rhythm game Parappa the Rapper. This time the action centers around Lammy, a grunge guitar-playing lamb with her own rock band. Lammy is late for her latest performance with Milkcan, the band she fronts with kooky sidekicks Katy Kat and Masan. To get to the gig, Lammy must successfully strum her guitar through seven cartoon levels. Each level contains a unique music video that requires superior guitar-playing skills. Lammy must master multiple styles of music, including heavy metal, pop, and punk. Superior musicians will be rewarded with a special remix mode, which adds a special rap by well-known game character Parappa.With unique animation from acclaimed cartoonist Rodney Alan Greenblatt and catchy tunes from Masaya Matsuura, Um Jammer Lammy is one of the most innovative games to ever appear on the PlayStation.

... in Parappa the Rapper. The idea is to keep your rating as "Good" or above in a 4 tier rating system. Not as easy as it sounds. The songs are very catchy and although a couple can be annoying (If I play the aeroplane one again I will scream!) the standard is generally very good. There are also a lot, lot more levels that I won't spoil but they include Parappa the Rapper and there is a fantastic 2-player mode. Um Jammer Lammy, the semi-but-not-quite-sequel to Parappa the Rapper, is a game where you control a lamb to play a guitar-of-sorts. This is a very difficult game to describe without playing it due to how unique it is. It consists of 7 Um Jammer Lammy 1 player stages, that you play in order, to do various things by using various things as guitars. You play these "guitars" - that are babies, aeroplane controls and, erm, guitars - by pressing buttons in time with the music, as in Parappa the Rapper. This is the next game after Parappa the Rapper which is funny as well as entertaining.You get to play as Lammy. She plays guitar for Katy's band, MilkCan. Katy is Parappa's girlfriend's friend. Lammy has to get to the concert on time to perform and you help her through a total of 7 stages, including the concert by pressing a sequence of buttons in the right pace. The controls are exactly the same as in Parappa. The music is different but still as catchy. They always have a good beat to them.
