Urban Chaos is one of those unknown games that very few people played. You play Darcy a female cop who is on a mission to take down the wildcats (a gang who are becoming increasingly dangerous) while at the same time investigating strange paranormal events that seems to be taking place all over the city. You are equipped with multiple weapons and can either arrest or kill people. You can also engage in hand to hand combat which is quite fun and quite challenging (it takes some practice to pull of certain moves). Urban Chaos is quite similar to the 3D GTA games as the game is free-roaming and allows you to drive a variety of vehicles. The driving is ... Read the complete review

Urban chaos - What do you think of with an intriguing title such as this? Football hooligans battling across the city? Earthquakes tearing through the foundation of society? Crime becoming out of control with criminals plotting to form a cult to destroy existence as we know it? - Yep, that's pretty much it right there. Enter you, a black, female rookie (with an attitude!) called D'arcy Stern who had just happened to enter the police department at exactly the same time as the gangs across the city were becoming out of control. Your job as the new rookie of the department is to become a one man army and march suicidally to the source of violence and crime ... Read the complete review

I first saw this game when looking through a catalogue. At the time I was desperate to find more games like Resident Evil and Dino Crisis. I saw a screenshot and thought it looked pretty similar. As it is, this game is like a cross between Resident Evil and Tomb Raider, which I don't actually like much. You can actually explore the whole city, and when I say the whole city I mean it. And unlike most games, it is actually possible to kill yourself by walking off the edge of a building. You can play as a criminal, but I usually play as D'arci Stern, a female police officer. At the start of the game there is excellent training where you try to get a gold ... Read the complete review

Union City needs an enema, but after several hours of Urban Chaos will you think that EIDOS does too? See for yourselves... It's 1999 and Union City is awash with crime. Violent gangs plague the city with knives, guns and mullet/mohicans, and even innocent bystanders cannot walk the streets without fear of being brutally beaten by wayward police officers, well... they can't when I'm playing. Mucky Foot have seemingly taken the concept of the third person scrolling beat 'em up, combined it with millennial apocalyptic occultism and Cagney and Lacey whilst playing too much Tomb Raider. They have then chucked all of these elements together in a ... Read the complete review

What a good game. Eidos never seem to fail to impress whenever they release a game and this is no exception. Urban Chaos takes the good points of Tomb Raider betters them with new additions. If there was one problem with Tomb raider it was its eventualboredom factor. The game was to lonely, to quiet and to afraid of putting in some action. Urban chaos sees to all of that. The game is set in a bustling city so there is no chance of getting lonely and bad guys attack at regular intervals to provide a constant action injection. The game also adds a good storyline to this game although a little unbelievable at times. there is also the fact that, with the exception of ... Read the complete review
