WWF Smackdown 2 Know your Role , was put on the shelves on the 1st of December in Ireland after a long delay . But it was definately worth the wait . This games has 50 characters to choose from at the start, about 10 more than the original, and another 10 to earn . All the superstars from WWF make an apperance, except for The Big Show . There are other characters made by THQ in it aswell .
You can now make 12 charaters instead of 4, and even with this is still only takes up 3 blocks of memory . You can edit every part of their bodies, from eyes to nose to socks !There are far more moves and taunts to choose from and you can preview them . It is also far easier to do double team moves than before . You can even pick what crowd signs you want
You can create a taunt, create managers, and stables(groups like DX or Lo down) . There are far more special matchs such as table matches, casket matches, hell in a cell matches and even a tlc match (which must be earned).
The Season mode is much improved . Instead of only fighting once a month you fight four to five times a month with a special even every month . The story line is much better also . Instead of "I wonder what X and Y are talking about" you get characters talking to each other (in text) . Characters plot things together, get interviewed, and of course jump each other . There are far more places in this than smackdown 1 so events can take place anywhere .
Another great improvement is that there are far more places to fight "anywhere falls" matches . Loads of hallways, the street, the bar, locker room, VIP room, shower room etc. The graphics also improved slightly and THQ have gotten rid of most of the enoying bugs . They also got rid of the boring "Now Loading" sign and replaced it with signed pictures of all the wrestlers in the game .

This game is absolutely amasing and brings out the best in the playstation . Unfortunately loading the music i
n the ROYAL RUMBLE causes a long pause but this is the only problem . If only all playstation games could be like this .
I recogmend you get this game even if you aren't a WWF fan (who isn't) . It is about £35 but there is so much of a demand that it might not be in stock until after Christmas
