Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (PSP):
... Evolution Soccer is synonymous now with being the best and most realistic football game ever made. Its jump to the PSP with Pro Evo 5 was for me a little shaky, although the basics were there it was a really slow loading game and had a few bugs that were simply glossed over. With the 6th Instalment of Pro Evo I was very impressed. Konami have speeded up the loading times and with it speeded up the actual gameplay... Virtua Tennis: World Tour (PSP) ... virtua tennis games line began around 10-15 years ago in arcade machines, since then the games have developed massively and have made their way on to games consoles. There have been quite a few versions, 4 to be precise, and they have all been popular. But can this new game meet the expectations that have been set before it by previous games? The gameplay is pretty similar to previous versions, brilliant. Running and turning is easy to do, but it does vary from player to player. There are three different shot types that can be hit, lob, topspin and slice. There are many different moves that players can do, like say diving or hitting a shot through their legs, these a... Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PSP) ... evolution soccer 2008 comes from a series of games that has been around for many years. It is produced by konami and is actually the first game to include the date in the title. The gameplay is very different from fifa and has many other different options. I bought it recently and have been addicted to it ever since. Where as in fifa you have to pass your way around the opposing team and play your strikers in with through balls to score the easiest goals, pro evo tends to need crosses from the wings for goals to occur. The gameplay is in my opinion better, while I enjoy the through balls more, there are many little bits and pieces here and there that make the gamepla... FIFA 08 (PSP) ... fifa series of games are renowned for being some of the best football games ever. Previous versions of fifa have always been around the five star mark, mainly because of their great gameplay. But can this new version of fifa live up to its expectations. The answer in my opinion is no. While this version of fifa may be on a portable device, I still expected something around playstation 2 quality, I was dissapointed. The disadvantage with this game in my opinion is the gameplay. The ball seems to move slower in passes, arial through balls seem impossibly, as does driblling, and freekicks never go in. The only way it seems possible to score is by running down the wing... Read the full review: Everything but good gameplay by jacksurvey |
