Ben 10 has hit the kids market by storm, and many games and programmes have come out about it.
The game is based around the hero (Ben 10) fighting through multiple levels with aliens and monsters to beat, typically trying to save the world before someone takes it over. The storyline isn't that great but it really doesn't need to be; all it needs is some wierd and wonderful characters to entertain kids and that is exactly what it has.
Needless to say really, graphics aren't great and this can get a little annoying because at some points I found it hard to disinguish my enemy from the enviroment.
With that in mind, the gameplay isn't that bad. The controls are simple but effective and you have all you classic action that a game like that needs: jump, run and attack. There is quite a lot of variety in the gameplay due to the fact that you can transform into different aliens providing you with a chance to play with a little diversity.
All-in-all it's a good game, not great, but I don't think anyone was expecting it to be great. In terms of value for money the story ends pretty sharply so it's only entertaining for a while. Buy if if you like this kind of thing but this game is really nothing special.
An inter-dimensional crisis threatens to swallow the Earth into limitless darkness and Ben Tennyson suddenly finds that his alien powers have been stolen. As Ben and his family set out to recapture the source of his amazing abilities, they encounter armies of otherworldly minions and uncover a plot to suck the Earth into the Null Void.
