Advantages: GREAT FUN

Disadvantages: Can't think of one

I had played Tiger Wood golf on the xbox and PS2 and loved it therefore I was a little bit worried that this game would be too childish and aimed at younger people just getting into computer games, however I loved it. It does not offer the same graphics and reality as Tiger Woods but the fun factor is still there.

--Gameplay--
The game starts off with most of the characters and courses locked as you play the game more you will start to unlock the features. The best way to unlock these features is through the challenge mode, here you complete a variety of challenges and you will increase you player's skill level, get some player accessories and also unlock new players and courses. The game offers other gameplay options including Stroke play, Training and Putt Golf. Taking a shot is quite easy to control as you simply set where on the ball you want to strike, press circle to start the swing and then again to set the power of the shot. You will know if you have hit a good shot as a music note will appear.

--Funfactor--
With the range of different gameplay options this game deserves a rating on 9.5/10 for funfacor. After being such a big Tiger Woods golf fan, I didn't think there would be another golf game that I would enjoy so much.

--Difficulty rating--
Although the game controls are easy to understand executing them to perfection takes some time. The challenges to get harder as the game goes on and unlocking some of the last courses are quite tricky. Also getting you skill level to the highest ranking is very hard and you will need to take part in training and beat a number of different opponents to do so.

--Game Controls--
As mentioned earlier the controls are quite simple to understand but harder to execute. You simply select in what direction you want to hit the ball using the d-pad then where on the ball you want to hit using the analogue and lastly start the power gauge with circle and then circle again to stop the power. You can also speed the video up by holding the R trigger button.

--Audio/Graphics--
This game goes not pride itself on great graphics of sounds but rather on the enjoyment and funfactor. It has some childish, repetitive music and also some funny sound effects from the players when they hit a good or bad shot. The graphics are pretty good and you can build your own character to look just like you in a cartoon form!

--Instructions/Manual--
The instructions are very good and although I do not normally look at them I needed to a few times just. If you can't work something out for yourself I'm sure you will find it in the instructions.

Summary: More fun than Tiger Woods golf
