Advantages: Cool mini-games, good manager mode
Disadvantages: slow loading screen, gameplay controls can be fiddly
Being a very big fifa fan from my PS2, i was very excited about getting this game: the prospect of being able to play one of my favourate games wherever and whenever i wanted (as long as my battery was charged).
Starting the game up threw me with familiar game logod like previous fifa editions, and then started the music. Obviously because of the storage space of the UMD discs, you would expect much less music too be included, although suprisingly, their isnt, with in fact quite a good soundtrack, whilst also allowing the option of playing all the music from the memory stick.
I found however the game to be a little laggy, spending rather a large amount of time also sitting waiting for the loading screen. The graphics were just as good as my old PS2 fifa games which i find to be quite amazing given the size of the PSP itself.
Controlling the players i found to be quite sluggish, not repsonding to some things i wish it to do. This problem i soon started to overcome though as i began to play the game more and more, scoring more and more goals.
I particularly like the manager mode however, having the ability to modify the team in every way, bringing in new players and controlling tactics. The small mini-games included in the game i also found to be a very good time killer, which included a cool juggling game, in which you have to play keepy-uppy by tapping out the right buttons displayed on-screen. Another mini-game includes a wall attack in which you volley balls against a wall, knocking down bricks to earn points.
Overall i found this game to be quite standard, with quite difficult controls, although very good graphical gameplay.
Summary: Good amount of features, although some problems with gameplay
