Advantages: another good game
Disadvantages: none
This is yet again another fantastic GTA from rockstar.
Iv always liked the GTA games but this was the first one iv ever owned on the psp and at first I was a bit unsure whether or not it would be anywhere near as good as the ps2 ones are just because games on the psp tend to be quite small compared to the ps2 games.
I wasn't disappointed though, graphics are amazing for a psp game and the map is the same size as vice city.
What I really like about vice city stories though is how there's kind of two interlocking stories going on at the same time. There's the normal missions that you have to do as the character Vic Vance, and then there's also building an empire and empire missions to do. This feature wasn't in the original vice city for the ps2 so its nice to see rockstar have come up with something new for the psp players and not just crammed vice city onto the psp.
In terms of difficulty I didn't find it too hard to complete, not that it was really easy as there were a few missions that I kept having to do again and again until I completed them. But I think they got the difficulty level just about right and most people should be alright with completing the missions.
When I was buying this I did hear from a few people saying that liberty city stories is a lot better but I disagree. Having played on both games for the psp, I think vice city stories has a lot better graphics than liberty city. Also you can swim on vice city which means its not as annoying when you crash into the ocean and just die instantly.
You can also fly choppers and planes in vice city stories too.
Altogether this is a great game that will keep you entertained for ages, even when you have completed the missions, so if you've got a psp but don't have the game yet then I advise you to get it.
Summary: well done rockstar.
