NBA Live 07 was given to me a while back now and I have to prefer most of the games I'd played up till that point had been football related. However I have been into Basketball in America for a while and following the NBA league games so thought I'd give this a go to see what it was like. I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too if you love basketball.
The first thing I like about this particular game is that there are various athletic superstar moves you can do, each one a little bit different to the last. For example, if you pick Lebron James or Kobe Bryant they will do their own trademark move and be different to anyone else's in the game. In this way the game is pretty realistic to the actual real game and that is what they have tried to acheive when making this.
A great thing about the game is the mode where you pick one NBA team and play as that team throughout the course of the season, experiencing the highs of victory and the lows of defeat, trying to get your team to the play offs and win the NBA season. In addition to make things more interesting, you can hire your own staff and also get to choose which days your team train, which days they can relax and have the day off etc. In this way it's not just a basketball that you are playing but also a management game as you work behind the scenes making decisions for your team. This way it's not just down to your ability to play the game but also the decisions you make for the team. Your Basketball team will also play at home in front of your own fans and go on road trips exactly like in real life.
There are a few glitches or annoyances with the gameplay, for example, if you're passing the ball to another player, from time to time the computer will take over the play and you have to tell it to pass it back to you.
This basketball for me seems pretty realistic and the graphics and the fact you can take control of real life players and manage the team's season makes it worth getting if you can now find it at a slightly cheaper prices as it's a copule of years old now
