Patapon 2 is a rhythm game which intergrates a drumming-type control system to fit the PSPs controls. It features lots of little eyeball things called patapons and one wearing a mask which you name. There are also several special ones with names like Tom Koumpon and Gong, which basically, are simply variations of the om or on sound. The game graphics are fine, and the use of silhouettes give the game a nice look. The game itself is very diverse, containing over 50 levels, all of which can be repeated for different bonuses and weapons. There are also eight minigames in which you can unlock rare weapons and resources. The game has a unique weapon system, with over 200 different types of weapons and over 40 for each class. There are also 16 Divine weapons to unlock after completeting specific tasks. There is a very diverse growth of patapons and there are lots of rarepons to upgrade your patapons to, including three master classes. The levels are very nicely done with different goals and several hidden boss battles. It is very rare that you will get bored during this game as the storyline is very good and intresting. There is at least 40 hours of playing before completing the storyline and afterwards, well, I have 106:23 playing time, and I still havent completed it fully.
So, overall, this is a good game with nice levels, ok graphics and hours of fun.
