Advantages: Great Graphics, Amazing Gameplay & Controls

Disadvantages: Sound Glitch & Slow Loading at times

Prince of Persia Revelations on the PSP is an updated version of Warrior Within. It is basically the same game play but with more levels and some new content. It has the same sort of platform action as previous Prince of Persia's in the series.

I have played Prince of Persia before on other platforms, PC and PS2. Now recently played it on the PSP and must admit was quite impressed.

The story starts were it left off from the previous game, Warrior Within. It shows the prince taking the path of mystery and carnage to defy his death. But in the path of the prince is his destiny the Dahaka, an immortal of fate seeking devine. It is interesting because previously in the game it was said that the prince's fate has been written and he will die. So in this game the prince masters new deadly combat to new levels of warrior ship and rise up from the defiance with his life.

In the revelations the prince is still capable of doing mad flips and spins also beheading like previous games in the series, which has become a trademark of the game I guess.

The games graphics are in my opinion as good as the game on other platforms. There are slight shade differences and fewer textures which are understandable being it is on the PSP.

The controls are replicated exactly as the PS2 controller so are easy to grasp especially if you have played other games in the series before on the PS2. So would be easy to play on the PSP.

Overall I think Prince of Persia Revelations is a good game on the PSP. But I have some bad news, sometimes during game play the background music stops which is a glitch it could do without as it does become annoying. Also the UMD loading is at times slow and takes more time than it should loading levels which also becomes annoying. I think this may be due to the graphical content which takes longer to load, not entirely sure. I would recommend it though as a game on any platform and on the PSP if you can put up with the slight glitches.

Summary: Excellent Game On All Platforms & Is good On PSP Even Though Has Slight Glitches.
