Advantages: Some pretty cool scenes in car leaping
Disadvantages: Boring story, gets old quick
After playing this game I do have to say I was slightly underwhelmed and a little disappointed.
Pursuit force is a cop action game which has you trying to fight back the sudden rise in crime due to various gang groups, so for starts not really all that imaginative, but hey it's a cop game so perhaps I'm being a little harsh
But that aside, the game got very boring very quickly, resulting in me selling it on after owning it for only a couple months. The missions vary from escorting a VIP as you watch from a helicopter, trying to defend the car from incoming enemies, (very tricky with just one analogue stick) or jumping from car to car to gradually eliminate enemies and complete your given objective. The fancy moves involved as you leap from boot to bonnet are initially pretty sweet, but get old pretty quick. All in all there are 5 gangs to dispense of, each becoming harder and better armed than the previous. Controls are pretty tricky and some boss fights very difficult and may result in frustration.
Visuals are pretty average, the gameplay is fluid but nothing really spectacular. Sounds can get annoying with your police chief constantly nagging you.
The game is by no means utter rubbish, but I would recommend renting or if you do buy it, don't spend too much on it. It's likely to end up in a dark dusty cupboard.
Summary: rent if you can or pick up at a boot sale.
