Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection is a fighting game for the PSP developed by Namco.

Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection for the PSP features a full story mode for all the characters which include all the Tekken 5 fighters in addition to Lilli a posh girl and Dragunov a Russian soldier. The story mode is quite expansive featuring a narrated opening to each of the characters adventures along with dialogue with some of the fighters and then a narrated ending and movie sequence. It may not sound like too much but it is the most fully featured Tekken storyline to date!

The game also features a new Tekken Dojo mode where you can train through the various Dojos in the world, the goal is to become ranked as the number 1 fighter at each Dojo. There are many different Dojos for you to conquer so you will be playing this new mode for hours on end!

The fighting in Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection is nothing short of superb, each character has their own different set of moves for you to learn making ever fighter worth playing as to learn the combos so you can be skilled with multiple fighters.

The game also features an item shop where you can equip your characters with items like swords and cool hats though they don't do anything in battle, if you are a Tekken purist you can also buy the classic costumes that your characters used to wear in the previous fighting games.

Sadly there are some downsides to the game, the PSP doesn't have such an accurate directional pad compared with the Playstation 2 so you may get a little frustrated at times as you try to perform a move. They have also gotten rid of the Tekken classic games and Devil Within minigame that featured in the original Tekken 5.

Graphics are superb with excellent detailed characters and destructible stages, voice over are good too.

If you need a good fighting game for the PSP, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection is a game you will like.
