I really enjoyed this game and I have completed it. This is a different game to the other versions as in it has a card based system as well as the normal mission story mode. You can do each mission one after another in story mode. In order to become the don of new york you have to do the card based system where you can use various cards that you are dealt to take over a particular neighborhood. You can do by moving your mobsters around and then eventually taking over the compound which is like the other versions of the game. The graphics do look very good but there are a few graphical hitches sometimes. I have seen a few times in a level where a mobster will just go up to a door and keep walking into it. The camera angle can be troublesome but apart from that a really good game.
Well, this game is fine, but after a few levels it gets really difficult. I'm not to sure about all of the mob wars section that they have included, I didn't understand it.
In general, the Gameplay is good and realistic to what real mafia situations are like, not that I know much about that, I'm not a mobster. There are a good variety of weapons that you can use, and the town that it is set in is very realistic. After a few levels though it gets really hard, and you are kind of stuck from that point because there aren't any other game modes, apart from mob wars, which I didn't understand and thought was absolutely rubbish. This game is quite complicated because there are so many buttons to press, to do different things, and I sometimes forget what buttons to press, and then get shot, which isn't good.
Another annoying thing is that there are un-skippable sections that you have to sit through, and some of these take a good two minutes.
There isn't a multiplayer wireless option, which is bad.
For the psp, the graphics are great, very realistic and thorough. But the camera angles sometimes play-up. I love the fact that shooting cars makes them blow up, they didn't need to put that factor in the game, but it makes it that bit more realistic.
Overall a good game, but if it had multiplayer and was a bit more easy to play it could have been great
This game is seriously awesome. My friend told me about it and how good it was so I went and got it. I started playing it and I couldn't help but agree with my friend. The game involves you taking over many parts of town and it is very fun. You play as a man trying to take over parts of town. This game has strategic aspects too, such as choosing which areas to mob. The game isn't really easy either. I was playing one mission and I had killed two people, but a third guy came out of nowhere and killed me. This game is great for people who enjoy shooting adventure games that involve some strategy as well. The storyline of this game is also pretty good. A boy turns to mobsters to kill the men who killed his father. I recommend this game to others who own a PSP.
