After playing enjoying the original wipeout game for playstation so much, I was excited to get my hands on this PSP game when it came out. Thankfully the controls are much easier to use than the earlier playstation one version and the game play is much more developed which is to be expected. It's a racing game but the fact it's about spaceships makes it more interesting than most of the standard racing games which are usually about cars. Obviously the aim is to complete as many races as possible and collect medals along the way.
