This is a great game that harks back to an era where playability and engagement of the player were as important as ever more complex graphics and viral advertising. Its refreshing to see that this classic revived is as engaging and addictive as ever. This is the type of game that makes the PSP such a good platform, this type of game is well worth carrying with you and is easily able to entertain for hours and hours. While some will scoff at the theme of violence the playful and frankly charming way it is protrayed is endearing and hugley belly-laugh funny. To those that have played the old Worms games there is a few new twists and the campaign games in particular are worth looking at. In all this is a hugh sucess and the PSP will take this classic take on cartoon violence further and further. This has a surprising appeal to a wide variety of ages and backgrounds.
AMAZING! I cant believe this is the first review for such a classic game. Like on other platforms this fails to dissapoint with many challenges and campaign mode or a quick easy pickup and play mode. Again this is a 2D game with 3D surrondings. On the other hand this may dissapoint players of the recent gamecube and playstation versions of the game not being 3D but with the PSP that would have been almost impossible.
