Panasonic RX-ED707 ... time somebody sees my stereo, they always say it looks like the front of a car. It is fairly flat, and has the two main speakers integrated into the sides. These curve down and around at the front, to make it look a bit like the bonnet of a car. It has most of the buttons on the top, in front of a panel which lifts up to reveal a screen display and two tape decks. The CD tray is hidden at the front, underneath the two speakers that curve round. It is a portable, all-in-one stylee stereo, so most of all it is light and compact. Sony WM-FX277 ... bought this Sony walkman from Argos, the price was good at only £24.49. Very stylish, nice colour silver. Nice blue digital readout, but sadly lacking a backlight for night time use. The FM frequency tuning goes up and down in .5 increments instead of .1 I thought that Sony would have covered this. The mega bass is very very good indeed, this walkman included a "Hold" feature so you cant accidently change channel. The manual is pretty good and clear to understand. The walkman has the usual ST/MONO swith and also NORM/Cro2Metal switch and included is a seperate swith AVLS NORM/LIMIT this when in operation can cut down on a high noise. The cassette ... Panasonic RQ-V65 ... is something about this walkman that I like, it just feels right. The buttons are well located and it is easy to use, 2 good AA batteries will last about 16 hours. The supplied headphones were very comfortable but it was only about 6 months before they packed up and the sound only came out of one ear. The Bass Boost is very good on this walkman. There is also a Normal/Chrome tape selector. One nuisance is that it does not have auto stop on rewind or fast forward and a few times I have left it rewinding by mistake and have found next day the batteries are flat as the buttons don't click off by themselves.
