amazingtrade Sony WM-FX473: ... bought this Walkman for £25 a couple of months ago half price in the sale. I remember this Walkman costing around £65 only a few years ago. It features a digital non-RDS FM and MW tuner and a basic cassette player. The tuner has 20 pre-sets and the cassette player allows you to automatically play the other side without turning the tape over. It was supplied with cheap freebie in the ear headphones which to me s...

jamaican Sony WM-EX615
... was given this Walkman as a present on my birthday last year and have ever since been listening to it. This Walkman has the longest battery power in any Walkman with up to 60 non-stop hours. This is a great advantage because like many of my other old walkmans I used to hate having to change the batteries after every couple of hours. It was just pointless. I liked the look of this Walkman, as there are not many like it, which is why it is probably a limited edition. It has a white metal case with the buttons all connected on this one strip of button in the shape of the new Sony Walkman logo. As you can see from the picture provided the buttons are yellow but they are ...

... haven't written anything on electrical equipment before and my knowledge of such things is severly lacking - Mr Bennetts fault, sorry! - so I'll try and make this read as appealing as possible. Enjoy... If you've read my opinions earlier you'll see that for my birthday I got the new Basement Jaxx album, Rooty as well as the Sims PC game. I've written about both so it seemed only fitting that I wrote an opinion on my main present. A Sony Walkman. Considering my previous Walkman munched through batteries, couldn't tune properly and could only seem to pick up Classic FM - no offence to anyone who likes this but its not for me. I was eargerly ant...

... For background on Walkmans in general and why you should still use them today please see my opinion on another Aiwa Walkman with the title “Walkmans in General”. INTRODUCTION A few years ago I was looking for a new Walkman as my old one, a very outdated Sony model, had broken. So where do you begin when looking for a Walkman? Well, I personally decided to look in the Argos catalogue for a bargain Walkman made by a brand I could trust. I opted for the same manufacturer as my Hi-Fi, Aiwa, and this attractive little Aiwa HS-TX486 caught my eye at a very affordable price. PRICE * I forget what the price was back then, but now after...
