Advantages: Easy to use, value for money

Disadvantages: No snooze function

I've had the ZS-D5 for just under two years and it has performed superbly!

Not only does it look good, the sound quality is fantastic even when pushed to the top of the volume band.

The unit is both functional and easy to use. I do have one slight problem with the unit, there is no snooze function. Overall it is easy to use, the buttons are large easy to use.

The remote is well planned and provides all functions including the cassette. Input and output sockets are provided on the front of the unit making it very easy to access especially if you change devices often.

Compatibility with digital devices is provided via an optical link which is useful if you have a portable minidisk unit.
