Sony Walkman WM-EX621:
... failed after less than one year. Gives 6-7 fast beeps whan any button activated, but no play. Sony wants more than exorbitant inital price to fix. Bad deal. When working, this was a satisfactory unit, although instruction documentation was primitive and unhelpful, and controls are neither intuitive nor well marked. "Hold" feature is a good means of eliminating inadvertent commands on the unit cas... Read the full review: Not Sony's Best Effort by Larry Burrows |

Sony WM-FX193 ... you know when the batteries are gone, the walkman doesn t work anymore or sound really warped when it only has a bit of energy left. The batteries should last 24 hours of tape play and 55 hours of just radio play. About 30 hours if it s a mix of both. When you re listening to the radio or your tapes, the sound quality is great. I think that has to do partly with the headphones. As they are Sony s best. MDR, which stands for Micro Dynamic Receiver. That basically means that it makes the best of the sound and gives the best quality. The headphones are the ones that you put in your ears so it s really earphones. You can put any different headphones in it and it works.... Read the full review: Walk to my sound by Nickycool |

Sony WM-EX422 ... you are reading this because you like me and what to show me your support, thank you and read on. If you are reading this because you are interested in getting one of these tape players, go and get your head looked at. I won this in a raffle about two weeks ago. Freshly wrapped straight off the shelf from Tesco (they left the price on). When my ticket was drawn out the winner, I went up to claim my prize. My mate said not to be tight and donate it to the charity that the raffle was for, but me being me said no. And don't I regret it. Yes I got home and opened it, thinking because it looked modern it would... Read the full review: What a waste. by somebodyrandom |

Sony Walkman WM-GX400 ... everyone needs a walkman nowadays. It?s true that cassettes are completely out of date. CD?s, mini discs, and MP3 players have taken over as the most modern media type. Hence one may ask why you would want to buy this supposedly out of date hardware. Well the answer is simple, it offers enhanced detail recording for brilliant recording quality. There are not many mini-disc or MP3 players that offer the same amount of recording quality. I as a student find this very helpful indeed. I can record my college lectures to listen and make notes later on. Good quality playback is essential for this. The walkman h... Read the full review: Walkman's Outdated?
