Sony WM-EX404 ... be it playing or stopped. It comes with headphones which have the 'funny little knobbly bits' which fit snuggly in my ears and stay there so the sound quality can stay at its best at all times. It has an extra plug on the side of the normal phones socket for special headphones which can carry sound data up to your noggin better too. There are three bass settings; normal, mega and Sony's infamous groove bass which I am aware is superb in a Hi-Fi system but carries the capabilities to make you bleed out of every facial orrifice if used incorrectly while plugged directly to your bonce. Sony WM-EX672 ... player, but because of the limitations of the tape format, you cannot expect much. The sound quality on this Walkman is great, for a tape, compared to a CD or even MP3 it just cannot cut it. However that’s just what it is, as for features it sports searching and blank skip, but you may get bored listening to the beeps while the tape rewinds/fast forwards. The headphones supplied are of the Sony “Grove” type, this means they have a little sticky out bit that actually goes into your ear. Sony WM-EX674 ... very nice walkman. It looks gorgous, sounds gorgous and is very well specced and has monster battery life. What more could anyone want! These walkmans aint that cheap, but Sony is just in another league with its Groove sound system and earphones. TAKE NOTE... even if you don't go for a Sony , you just have to buy some Groove earphones, at £20 they're twice the price of your average set, but believe me they're 5 times better, which can only render them a good value investment! The bass response is so far untouchable so far by the likes of AIWA. The problem with most setups is that they're let down by tinny, uncomfortable earphones, but all change h...
