Sony D 191 ... spend a lot of time on buses and trains, which can be awfully boring. So, it really was helpful when my parents bought me a CD walkman, this Sony product is a great cd walkman for a variety of reasons. I have to start with it’s looks, it’s quite slim and thin looking so nothing bulky and therefore not only looks good but also takes limited room in your bag. Don’t worry about batteries running out and you having to folk out for them because you can recharge the batteries, do it every night for a hour or so and they will last you quite a long time. So what swayed my purchase toward this particular model - the catchily-named SL-SX228 - when there are so many to choose from... To start with it's really slimline and light, and the batteries have a respectable playback time of 24 hours (you can buy special Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries for it, too). There's no belt hook but I'm sure you can shove it in your pocket or down your trousers without too much trouble. Sony D-E 200 ... was well chuffed when my girlfriend bought me this CD player. Tapes just don't cut it for me, far too crackly and always getting chewed up. I could finally listen to my collection of CDs without having to copy them all to a scummy old tape. Hurrah! The CD player I have isn't quite like the picture above; instead it's in an attractive blue colour. There are 6 buttons on the front face, just below the part that opens, 2 switches on the front edge and an open button on the side.
