BEWARE! I bought one of these at full catalogue price from Argos. The unit came in new packaging with new remote and literature. It had an in-tact Wuality Assurance seal. The recorder itself was SECONDHAND and BROKEN. I was luckky; the previous owner had been careless with the machine and it was obviously used as well as broken. The Goodmans GCD 89 Ri Personal CD player is a very nice little player. With a transparent blue top blended with silver surround and buttons it also looks very modern and in my opinion makes it look that little bit more expensive than it actually is! GCD 707B is a great product at a ridiculous low price. I was out looking for a birthday present but didn't have a lot of money but I wanted to get a portable CD player. This Goodmans CD player is what I bought. It's only £35 in ARGOS it looks good and sounds very sharp. It also comes with a 10 second Anti Shock Programme that means you can listen to your CDs without them jumping everytime you move.
